Great location, so easy to walk to places! And very convenient for taking the bus, especially the 21, 22, 6 and 7 routes. I easily walked to the Hayes St restaurants, Haight Ashbury, Japantown, to name a few areas. Skate Church is right across the street too if you're interested in roller skating. Agree with other reviews that the street traffic can be a bit noisy but I used earplugs and it was fine. Room was small but it was clean and had everything I needed so it was great for a single person. Be mindful that there are only stairs if you have heavy luggage. Staff was good at answering questions around check in and check out time. Great value if you have simpler needs as a traveller.

The staff were friendly and helpful, I stayed in room 305 which was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable, room came with a bathroom and that was kept clean and tidy,it looks down on to Fillmore street which is a busy road so bring some ear plugs! the only drawback is the hotel does not have a lift so if you can't do stairs it's probably not for you,so all in all a nice hotel to stay in, The area felt safe at night and was only a ten minute walk from Haight street where there are a choice of Restaurants to eat in,Palmyra restaurant and Nickies bar/Restaurant where two I liked.

It was clean and comfortable and near to downtown. There was a young woman, forgive me for not remembering her name… it starts with SH, we need help with retrieving our baseball tickets from our cellular and she went out of her way until she found them. we appreciate it from our heart and thank you again. The only down fall is that there is no elevator, even though they accommodated us in the first floor, but still we had to climb stairs. we were four seniors. It’s no problem for young people. Ohhh and their coffee machine did the best coffee ☕️ delicious 😋! Thnk you!

I love this hotel, used to live in the neighborhood so the location is a must, safe, romantic and close to many cafes, restaurants. Ideal location to discover the city. And the atmosphere in the hotel is very chill and relaxed. And very San Francisco, the stairs, the smell, the little wind coming through the bathroom windows.. I hope this hotel will remain many years in the future as I will definitely be coming back here.

The hotel is a good budget hotel if you're looking to visit San Francisco, for 7 nights I paid 643 dollars for a twin deluxe room from the 1st to the 8th April, the rooms are basic but kept clean and tidy,it's also nicely situated not far from Alamo Square about 10 mins walk also not far away is Haight Street where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to drink in so all in all a nice place to stay.
